Hush Little One is a supernatural, folklore, proof-of-concept horror short that explores similar characters, themes and subject matter from a debut feature of the same name in active development with Rebel Yeah!
Synopsis: A single mother’s sleepless nights turn to terror when her son’s nightmares manifest in the shadows of their home.
Hush Little One is one of four projects and teams of filmmakers that have been awarded £3,000 commissions each to produce new short films in the Ashford area as part of the Screen Ashford Short Film Competition 2025/26 in association with Screen South and Ashford Borough Council.
The film will premiere at film festivals in 2026 and be used as a proof-of-concept at film markets.
Starring Mandip Gill (Doctor Who, Curfew, Cooper & Fry) in the lead role. Sheil Chandak and Alexander Halsall feature in supporting roles.
